macOS Installation

macOS may show a security warning because the app is not notarized. Follow these steps:

  1. 1Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag StillHere to Applications.
  2. 2Right-click the app in Applications and select "Open".
  3. 3Click "Open" in the dialog. You only need to do this once.
Alternative: using Terminal
xattr -cr /Applications/StillHere.app

This removes the quarantine flag. Then open normally.

Windows Installation

Windows SmartScreen may show a warning because the app is not signed with a Microsoft certificate. This is normal for independent software.

  1. 1Run the downloaded StillHere-Setup.exe
  2. 2If SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC", click "More info" then "Run anyway"
  3. 3Follow the installer — choose install location and check "Create Desktop Shortcut" if you want one
  4. 4Launch Still Here from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut

The app is free to download. The Chill plan is free forever. Paid plans unlock more features.
